I was just looking around at articles about file sharing since I know that the entertainment industry has a problem with this. I came across an article called “riaa attempt to ban internet” that mentions that RIAA is trying to say that just having a bunch of files available to be shared, even if you don’t download or upload them, can be a breach of copyright. That is so ridiculous. Unless you have actually shared something that is copyrighted you shouldn’t be at risk of getting in trouble for this sort of thing. I really like Ares. There is nothing quite like it for downloading and sharing my favorite music. Lately though, I’ve had some serious frustrations when trying to get my system to connect. Maybe the people using Ares Galaxy – which from the looks of things is getting more than a little tired in its old age – are the ones but are having issues in making Ares connect.
